Since 1991, DDMS has managed group homes for children & adults with intellectual disabilities. Today we provide stable, loving homes for more than 800 individuals in 6 states across 150 homes.
Each DDMS agency has a medical director that will oversee the medical needs of your loved one. We ensure all individuals attend annual doctor appointments, and as needed, by scheduling and taking them to their appointments. We understand the importance of communication, so we work closely with families to make sure they are updated.
DDMS pays close attention to what your loved one wants and we teach them the skills to achieve it, which is why various activities are available for all individuals throughout the day. For example, an individual may be participating in a cooking class during the morning, and attending choir practice in the afternoon. It all depends on what your loved one wants to achieve. We just help them achieve it!
